I'm Head of Product at Atllas, Inc., where I build AI-powered inbound and outbound calling solutions. I'm also a PhD student at McMaster University, studying human-robot interaction (HRI) under Dr. Denise Geiskkovitch at the HuRoN Lab.
I am passionate about HRI research, using a broad range of skills to create tools, products, and systems that enable and empower people to do what they love and care about. Check out my research involvement here, or view my publications on Google Scholar.
Within the world of software engineering, I am most interested in crafting beautiful, functional web applications. I have also developed robust, adaptable computer vision systems for robots. Check out my personal projects here.
I also own Phillip Tran Software Development Services, offering software development solutions to businesses. If you're interested in working together, feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn.
Previously, I served as Vice President of BUILDS, BU's student-run makerspace and ACM chapter, and as Director of Marketing for Upsilon Pi Epsilon, a computer science honor society.
